Stuart Semple is a world-renowned artist, art supplies maker and public artist. He is a provocative force in bringing positive change through art.
Stuart contacted our co-founder Mike through a Facebook post exchange. The idea? To create a short documentary from footage filmed in 2018.
This project had a short turnaround and a loose brief. Stuart handed the creative reins for the edit over to us. There was also a lot of extremely interesting and usable footage to sift through and curate.
We created a viable plan to share with Stuart, as well as daily updates. This meant he could suggest changes as we progressed with the video.
‘Can art be a tool to bring us together, reduce fire and help us to feel safer and more connected? Mr. Happy explores the public artworks of Stuart Semple.
Documenting happiness projects around the world. Including some of the artist's better known works.
