Background

The Northern Powerhouse is the UK’s ambition to bring together the great cities, towns and rural communities of the North of England and Wales to become a powerhouse for our economy. We will achieve this with modern transport links, a revolutionary new style of governance and increased investment. The Northern Powerhouse Campaign, delivered by Kindred needed representatives across the North of England to capture and deliver high quality content to feed into the campaign. We were approached by the Cabinet Office to support the campaign and work with Kindred.

 

Challenges

With a short turnaround and shoots in multiple Northern UK cities, we worked on a local level to promote the campaign via social platforms by creating assets according to the official assets pack. These assets were shared on a local level and raised awareness of the main content, which was distributed throughout the assets we created.

 

Results

  • 13.9k impressions over 5 day period of Twitter engagement, posts & shares
  • 1.4k+ impressions of media on Facebook, 13 shares
